The extra length on this rod gives you the perfect, precision control of your floats in deep, running water, and is a float fishing connoisseur’s dream, designed to get maximum effect and impact.

With a full cork handle and engraved cap, the Acolyte features a hyper-responsive Fuji reel seat, which allows you to feel all the action throughout your rod.

The Drennan Acolyte Float Rod has been developed and tested over 18mths, with input from  Alan Scotthorne, and several top-level match anglers, which has influenced every stage of the process.

With a rigid yet responsive blank, this float rod gives you smooth action and precise control, in a rod that won’t be bent under heavy winds, or pulled by strong currents, making it ideal if you’re float fishing a river in flood, or a fast-flowing water like the Avon.
