Drennan Acolyte Plus 12ft Float Rod

Drennan Acolyte Plus 12ft Float Rod

The Drennan Acolyte Plus 12ft Float Rod offers increased line control and casting range, making it an excellent choice for larger rivers, expansive stillwaters and anglers who prefer a longer float rod.

Precision Performance for Modern Float Fishing

The Drennan Acolyte Plus 12ft Float Rod is a premium float rod designed for anglers who demand exceptional balance, responsiveness and fish-playing performance. Built on a slim, high-quality carbon blank, this beautifully balanced rod feels incredibly light in the hand, making it ideal for long sessions on rivers, canals and stillwaters.

Its crisp, fast action delivers outstanding casting accuracy and superb float control, while the forgiving tip helps reduce hook pulls and line breakages when playing hard-fighting fish. Whether you’re targeting roach, chub, tench, bream or quality perch, the Acolyte Plus offers the confidence and precision needed to fish effectively.

Designed for Accuracy and Fish Control

The progressive semi-through action hides impressive reserves of power, allowing the rod to absorb sudden lunges from larger fish while maintaining excellent control throughout the fight. It performs perfectly with reel lines between 4lb and 6lb, while also accommodating hooklengths from 2lb (0.11mm) to 4lb+ (0.15mm).
This combination of sensitivity and strength makes the Acolyte Plus 12ft one of the most versatile float rods in the Drennan range.
