The Korda Singlez Spike is completely compatible with the entire range of Singlez products, so whether you’re creating your pilot hole with the T-Bar or you’re reinforcing your two or three rod setup with the Ball Stabiliser then you’ll need this Singlez Spike in your life.

When you’re fishing on a soggy, boggy, or damp bank, the standard length Korda Singlez Spike might not give you the stability that you demand from your setup. Luckily, this is something that Danny and the Korda team have thought through extensively. This is why the brand has designed this Korda Singlez Spike Extension. It can simply screw into the top of your existing spike, adding extra length that allows you to cut deeper in the bank – anchoring your entire set up even in sloppy conditions.

To get the most out of any carp rod setup you need your support system to be completely stable – no matter the conditions of the bank. This is where the Korda Singlez Ball Stabiliser comes in. You will have already created your pilot hole with your main spike and T-Bar but, before you go ahead and screw your spike into your bankstick, Korda recommends slotting this Ball Stabiliser into your setup. With a hole in the base for your main spike, the Korda Singlez Ball Stabiliser has a secondary, small spike attached. This means that as you push your banksticks into the ground you can ensure that they aren’t going anywhere, no matter how loose or slippy the bank surface is. This is really a revolutionary addition to your system, allowing you to fish with confidence in a whole range of scenarios safe in the knowledge that you’re not going to experience and twist or wobble – even when you get a ripping take on your rods.

The Korda Singlez T-Bar might look simple but in fact it is an integral part of the Singlez system – despite not featuring in your finished rod support system! The idea for the use of the T-Bar to create a pilot hole came about when (Korda founder, Singlez creator, and carp fishing legend) Danny Fairbrass found himself bending his buzz bars as he attempted to push them in. Fed up with reinvesting in buzz bars after every frosty morning, he designed this T-Bar system.

To get the most from your Korda Singlez T-Bar, simply unscrew the carabineer clip and screw in your spike. You can then push your spike into any gravel or mud surface – regardless of whether the ground has been baked solid by the sun or frozen hard in the cold – without worrying about damaging your buzz bars. You can even take a mallet to the T-Bar if you’re really struggling as its ultra-durable construction ensures that it can withstand the most rigorous of angling activities. The Korda team recommend using the T-Bar to insert the spike about 9/10 of the final depth that you’re after. This ensures that, when the time comes to set up your buzz bars, you’re still going to get a solid base for your carp rod setup. You can then remove the T-Bar and unscrew it from the spike, re-screw in the carabineer and clip it to your luggage, ready for use later.
